RCJY Hosts Summer Training Forum that Qualifies Participants for the International Science Olympiad

The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) Saturday started a summer training forum, which trains students to qualify to participate in the International Science Olympiad (science, physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics). Fifteen trainers and supervisors, and 73 talented students from different regions of the Kingdom take part in the forum, which lasts until August 12; it is one of the pivotal training forums, dedicated to students who have achieved the required levels in the basic courses. These forums bring together, for about two weeks, experienced local and international trainers and students nominated to represent the Kingdom in international competitions. Nominations are based on approved criteria. RCJY endeavors to harness all potentials to guarantee the success of the forum; its departments provide an ideal and unique environment for talented students, which motivates them to exert further effort, give their best and excel. This forum comes as an extension of the partnership between RCJ Y and King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba). Source: Saudi Press Agency
