Riyadh Governor to Launch 181 Environmental, Water, Agricultural Projects Tomorrow

Riyadh: Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for 181 environmental, water, and agricultural projects tomorrow. The inauguration will occur in the presence of Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Alfadley, with the projects collectively valued at over SAR38.1 billion, serving various cities and governorates within the Riyadh Region.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has outlined that the developmental projects include 82 initiatives focused on the environment, water, and agriculture sectors, with a total investment exceeding SAR9.8 billion. Furthermore, the foundation stone will be laid for 99 new development projects valued at SAR28.3 billion. These projects are designed to enhance sustainability and improve service quality for citizens throughout the Riyadh Region, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.



The anticipated benefits of these projects include improved quality of life for residents, contributions to food and water security, reinforced environmental sustainability, and the preservation of natural resources. The projects aim to deliver high-quality services to beneficiaries across the Riyadh Region.
