Riyadh: Riyadh Season will host the global ‘Power Slap 17’ competition on Friday, October 31, at Mohammed Abdo Arena, in partnership with the Power Slap organization and sponsored by Monster Energy. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Turki Alalshikh highlighted that Riyadh Season has become a global destination attracting major international events.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the first Power Slap edition held in January had significant global attention. The upcoming event is expected to bring some of the sport’s top stars to the Kingdom. The main event will feature a middleweight bout between champion Anthony ‘Babyface’ Blackburn and fourth-ranked Cole ‘Full Send’ Young. The co-main fight will see heavyweight contender Dorian “Disturbing The Peace” Perez face Zakir Naimanbayev.
Additional matchups will be announced later. Tickets are available through the Webook platform, while the competition will be broadcast live worldwide on Power Slap’s YouTube channel and exclusively in the Middle East on MBC.
