Royal Commission for Jubail, Yanbu Highlights over SAR1.4 Billion in Investments to Empower SMEs

Jeddah: Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu: Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu President Eng. Khalid Al-Salem highlighted investments exceeding SAR 1.4 billion, distributed among major companies and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the commission's cities. According to Saudi Press Agency, speaking at a panel discussion during the Industry and Mining Pioneers Week, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha 'at), Al-Salem said the growth reflects the vital role of the commission in supporting the national economy and diversifying its sources. He emphasized that SMEs are a cornerstone of the commission's strategy to enhance competitiveness and create new opportunities, noting the efforts made to empower entrepreneurs and realize the pertinent objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. Al-Salem also outlined the role of entrepreneurship within the commission, the position of SMEs, and the programs and initiatives launched to support the sector. He shared several success st ories and highlighted the promising future for SMEs across the commission's cities.
