Saudi 2024 Ophthalmology Symposium Celebrates Successful Conclusion in Jeddah.

JEDDAH: The Saudi 2024 Ophthalmology Symposium – The Red Sea – concluded today in Jeddah. Held under the patronage of Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, the conference attracted over 2,500 doctors and specialists from around the globe.

According to Saudi Press Agency, over three days, the symposium covered a range of important topics, including the latest advancements in corneal and anterior segment diseases and surgeries, refractive surgery for vision correction, cataract surgery and lens implantation, retinal and vitreous diseases, pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and uveitis.

In addition, the symposium addressed topics relevant to the medical community, presenting academic materials that enhance efficiency and foster high-quality discussions on recent developments in the field.

The Saudi 2024 Ophthalmology Symposium also featured live surgeries conducted both within and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, allowing specialists to discuss cases in real time.
