New York– The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has affirmed its keenness on the life quality of its cities, the development of effective governance and the imparting of a local urban culture through diversifying responsibilities and promoting new opportunities at the regional and local levels, with the aim of dedicating an effective contribution to the transformation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and achieving its ambitious aspirations.

This came in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s speech, during the High-Level Meeting of the United Nations General Assembly on the implementation of the New Urban Agenda, which was delivered by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing Dr. Adel bin Bakhit Al-Zahrani.
