Saudi Arabia to Regularize Status of Yemeni Residents

Riyadh:According to Saudi Press Agency, the Yemeni government has praised Saudi Arabia's decision to regularize the status of Yemeni nationals illegally residing in the Kingdom. This decision comes following directives from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, responding to a request by Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council.

A statement from the Yemeni Council of Ministers, reported by Yemen News Agency (SABA), expressed gratitude towards King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for this initiative. The statement highlighted that this move reflects Saudi Arabia's humanitarian approach and underscores the deep brotherhood and historical ties between the two nations.

The initiative is considered part of Saudi Arabia's continuous support for Yemen, demonstrating a strategic partnership that not only encompasses political and economic assistance but also aims to uphold the dignity of the Yemeni people.
