The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association is set to participate in the 43rd World Scout Conference, taking place in Cairo, Egypt, from August 17 to 23. Along with 175 other scout organizations from around the world, Saudi Arabia will contribute to shaping the future of the global scouting movement.
Secretary-General of the association, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Mudaris, emphasized the conference’s significance in addressing global challenges and empowering youth. He highlighted the importance of intergenerational dialogue and youth involvement in decision-making.
The conference will explore critical topics such as global governance, sustainability, and digital cooperation. Saudi Arabia will showcase its scouting renaissance through an exhibition and participate in the World Day for Cultural Exchange.
With a history of active participation dating back to 1963, the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association is a committed member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
