Taif:The sixth edition of the Saudi Camel Sports Racing Cup will commence on Thursday under the patronage of the Governor of Makkah Region, Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz. The event will be held in Taif Governorate over a period of five days.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event will gather elite camel owners from both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and GCC states. A total of 129 races will take place, with camels contending for 36 cups.

The tournament is a part of Saudi Camel Sports' initiatives aimed at developing the sport, preserving its heritage, and enhancing its sporting and cultural significance.
