Saudi Driver Al-Yousef to Represent Kingdom in Round 2 of F1 Series at Jeddah Corniche

Jeddah: The Saudi Motorsport Company, promoter of the Formula 1 stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, announced the participation of Saudi driver Farah Al-Yousef as a wildcard entry in the second round of the 2025 F1 Academy series-one of the support races for the Grand Prix-set to take place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit from April 18 to 20. Al-Yousef’s participation marks a new step in strengthening Saudi women’s presence in motorsport, following Reema Juffali’s notable appearance last season. Al-Yousef is set to compete with a group of promising female drivers worldwide on the fastest street circuit globally.



According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Yousef’s inclusion in the race signifies a growing trend of increased involvement of Saudi women in the sporting world, particularly in motorsports. Her participation reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to supporting and promoting female athletes on international platforms, highlighting the strides made in recent years towards gender inclusivity in sports. The Jeddah Corniche Circuit, known for its challenging layout and high-speed straights, will provide an exciting venue for Al-Yousef and her fellow competitors as they vie for victory in this prestigious event.
