Saudi EXIM Bank’s Credit Facilities Reach SAR150 Billion Milestone

Hanoi:The Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM) has reached a significant milestone, with total credit facilities provided since its inception surpassing SAR150 billion. This achievement highlights the bank's role in promoting the growth of Saudi non-oil exports and enhancing their presence in global markets.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi EXIM has provided more than SAR50 billion in credit facilities over the past 18 months. This follows the announcement last year that the bank's credit facilities had reached SAR100 billion, demonstrating its commitment to accelerating operations to meet economic and development objectives.

The bank plays a crucial role in supporting Saudi non-oil exports by offering integrated credit solutions such as export financing, guarantees, and export credit insurance. These services are designed to bridge financing gaps and manage risks for local exporters, international buyers, and financial institutions involved in global trade.

Eng. Saad Alkhalb, CEO of Saudi EXIM, acknowledged the rapid growth in credit facilities as evidence of support from the country's leadership for sustainable development. He emphasized the bank's strategic focus on delivering credit solutions aligned with international trade requirements, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Saudi exporters in the global market.

Saudi EXIM operates under the National Development Fund's supervision, with the aim of developing Saudi non-oil exports and supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The bank provides financing, guarantees, and insurance solutions to help mitigate export risks, support economic diversification, and unlock opportunities for Saudi products and services worldwide.
