Riyadh: President of the General Court of Audit (GCA) and Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Authority of Internal Auditors Dr. Hussam Alangari has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia, represented by Board of Governors President Suhailah Mohamed Abdulla, to boost cooperation between the two organizations in internal auditing, governance, and compliance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU is based on principles of mutual trust and partnership and aligns with international standards for internal auditing. It emphasizes the importance of exchanging expertise, enhancing professional effectiveness, and evaluating governance and compliance in accordance with the laws of both countries.
