Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, participated today in a discussion session held as part of the second edition of the “Saudi Green Initiative Forum”, taking place on the sidelines of the “COP 27” conference in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.

Minister Al-Swaha stressed during the session that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister, has moved from ambition to action during the past two years to empower people, protect the planet and shape new horizons, citing the Kingdom’s enormous efforts to take advantage of the country’s tremendous technology and the digital national cadres, in accelerating green and renewable energy projects, environmentally friendly tourism projects, and carbon capture and storage projects, which are considered the largest in the world.

The minister, during his participation, shed light on innovative business models based on sustainable solutions in Aramco, SABIC, the Red Sea, and NEOM.
