Glendale: The Saudi national football team arrived yesterday evening in Glendale, Arizona, to prepare for its match against the Mexican national football team Saturday at State Farm Stadium as part of the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup quarterfinals.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi national team players conducted their training session Thursday at the Sports Performance Center in San Diego, California, under the supervision of Coach Herve Renard. The session began with warm-up exercises, followed by possession and tactical exercises, and concluded with a stretching session.
In a related development, Abdullah Madu performed individual exercises with the medical staff due to knee pain. At the same time, Huammam Al-Hammami did not complete the training session after suffering an ankle injury.
The team will conclude their preparations today with a training session at 6:00 PM Arizona time at Phoenix Rising Stadium. The session will be open to the media for the first 15 minutes.
