Jeddah: The Saudi national football team continued its training program this evening at its Jeddah camp, in preparation for facing Australia in the final round of the third round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Coach Herve Renard divided the team players into two groups, the first of which included the players who participated as starters in the previous match against Bahrain and underwent recovery exercises at the sports club, while the second group included the rest of the players.
Their training session, which was held on the reserve field in King Abdullah Sports City, began with warm-up exercises, followed by square drills, before a division into two groups on half the field. The training session concluded with stretching exercises.
Meanwhile, player Mohannad Al-Saad continued his rehabilitation program accompanied by the physical trainer, while player Mohannad Al-Shanqeeti participated in group training. The Saudi national team will continue its preparatory program tomorrow evening, Sunday, with a closed evening training session to be held at the reserve stadium in King Abdullah Sports City at 7:00 PM.
