Addis Ababa:The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched the Saudi Noor Volunteer Program in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, aiming to combat blindness and eye diseases. This initiative took place from September 11 to 19, 2026, involving four volunteers from various specialties in partnership with the Al Basar International Foundation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the volunteer medical team examined 5,545 individuals, performed 406 surgical procedures, and distributed 1,150 pairs of prescription eyeglasses.

This project is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts, implemented through KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of patients and injured individuals worldwide.
