Riyadh: President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority Dr. Jalal Al-Owaisi received President of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society Abdulrahman Bilal Al-Eid at the authority's headquarters today, along with the society's Secretary-General Ahmed Al-Tayeb Suleiman. During the meeting, the officials discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in humanitarian fields.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions also addressed the importance of expanding coordination and strengthening integration in humanitarian initiatives aimed at saving lives and alleviating suffering during crises. Both sides explored opportunities for cooperation in ambulance services, capacity-building support through the provision of equipment and ambulances, as well as the implementation of first aid training programs.
They affirmed their commitment to continuing cooperation and exchanging successful experiences, reflecting the depth of fraternal ties and contributing to advancing humanitarian work in line with international best practices.
