Riyadh: President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority Dr. Jalal Al-Owaisi launched the authority's 2028 strategy during a ceremony attended by its leaders and staff. The strategy marks a new phase of transformation and development. It aims to enhance the readiness of the ambulance system and improve service quality, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. It also seeks to strengthen the authority's response capacity and ensure efficient community service.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the strategy is built on four main pillars. The first focuses on delivering standardized and effective emergency medical services. This includes expanding ambulance coverage, improving response times, and enhancing outcomes for critical cases.
The second pillar centers on achieving sustainability and diversifying funding sources. It emphasizes boosting operational efficiency and expanding support channels to ensure the continued development of ambulance services.
The ceremony included a review of the authority's history and key achievements. A presentation also outlined the strategy's pillars and future objectives. This reflects the authority's commitment to advancing ambulance services and reinforcing its vital role in serving the community.
