Madinah: Emergency teams of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Madinah Region successfully restored the pulse of an Indonesian patient after he suffered cardiac and respiratory arrest while present in the courtyards of the Prophet's Mosque following Maghrib prayer.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Medical Dispatch Center received a report at 7:15 p.m. on Monday regarding an emergency case in the mosque's courtyards. Specialized ambulance teams were immediately dispatched to the site, arriving within a response time of two minutes and 56 seconds. Upon assessment, the case was classified as cardiac and respiratory arrest.
Paramedics managed the case on-site in accordance with approved medical protocols, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and utilizing advanced medical equipment, while an additional support team was directed to ensure rapid and efficient handling of the critical condition. After the patient's condition stabilized, he was transferred to Al-Salam Hospital to complete the necessary medical care, affirming that the swift response and readiness of the emergency teams directly contributed to saving the patient's life.
