Saudi Scouts Explore Indonesia’s Rich Botanical Heritage at Bogor Garden

Jakarta: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association delegation, participating in the 2025 World Muslim Scout Jamboree hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia, visited the renowned botanical garden in the city of Bogor.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the garden spans approximately 87 hectares and is one of Indonesia's most significant green spaces, home to over 15,000 species of rare and diverse plants. It serves as a leading center for scientific research, a popular tourist destination, and an educational hub dedicated to promoting and preserving biodiversity.

During their visit, the scouts explored the garden's rich history of more than two centuries and gained insight into its vital role in environmental and botanical research.
