Riyadh: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association is taking part in the annual JOTA-JOTI 2025, scheduled for October 17 to 19, with the participation of more than two million young people from 170 countries worldwide. JOTA-JOTI, or the Jamboree on the Air - Jamboree on the Internet, is the world's largest digital scouting event. It connects young people and Scout leaders through radio and the internet to exchange experiences, develop life skills, and foster global citizenship and cross-cultural understanding.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Scouts will organize a combined virtual and field camp at the Applied College of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation in Riyadh to mark this occasion. The camp will be supervised by the IT commission of the association's secretariat and led by Scout Leader Ali Al-Qarni. It will feature interactive activities and training programs that connect Scouts in the Kingdom with their peers around the world.
Secretary-General of the association Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mudaris emphasized that the association's participation reflects its commitment to advancing the goals of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. It promotes communication, cooperation, and exploration while also showcasing the Kingdom's culture, its Scouts, and its pioneering humanitarian initiatives to the international scouting community.
