Saudi Sports Channels to Provide Live Coverage from Four US Cities for ‘Green Falcons’ FIFA World Cup 2026

Riyadh: Saudi Sports Channels, part of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA), will provide live on-the-ground coverage from four US host cities-Austin, Houston, Atlanta, and Miami-during the Saudi national team's (Green Falcons) participation in the FIFA World Cup 2026. According to Saudi Press Agency, the coverage will include live broadcasts from the Green Falcons' accommodation sites, training sessions, match venues, press conferences, and fan gathering areas in the host cities. This comprehensive approach aims to keep fans updated with every development as the team progresses in the tournament. Saudi Sports Channels will also follow the national team's World Cup journey through two dedicated programs: Sport Center, airing daily at 2:00 p.m., and Fei Altiseen, airing at 9:00 p.m. The programs will feature the latest tournament developments and updates on the Saudi team's performances. In addition to the on-site coverage, the channels will provide daily live coverage from fan zones in Riyadh and several cities across the Kingdom. This aspect of the coverage will focus on highlighting supporters' reactions and engagement with the World Cup matches. The programming lineup also includes a special program reviewing the history of Saudi Arabia's participation in World Cup qualifiers and finals since 1986. The program will be presented by former Saudi national team captain Mohammed Abduljawad, alongside several former national team stars. As part of its documentary content, Saudi Sports Channels will present several special productions, including a film documenting the Saudi national team's training camp in Austin and the cities hosting the Green Falcons' matches. The lineup will also include a documentary titled "The Story of the Belgium Match 94," which explores behind-the-scenes moments from one of the most memorable matches in Saudi football's World Cup history. The channels will also air interviews with sports and media personalities, in addition to reports from the Kingdom's various regions capturing publ ic sentiment and reactions to the Saudi national team's participation in the FIFA World Cup 2026.
