Riyadh: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) organized a specialized meeting on licensing and accreditation activities in the field of personal data protection, bringing together representatives of the private sector and providers of data-related services and products in Saudi Arabia. The meeting forms part of SDAIA's efforts to strengthen the regulatory environment for personal data protection, expand partnerships with the private sector, and enhance the readiness of specialized companies to contribute to the national personal data protection ecosystem.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, SDAIA emphasized the importance of developing the regulatory framework governing personal data protection and invited all relevant stakeholders to submit feedback on draft standards and guidelines covering licensing activities and accreditation certificates.
