Jazan: Security patrols in the Jazan region have successfully apprehended an Ethiopian national who violated the border security system by smuggling a substantial quantity of illegal substances and firearms. The individual was caught in Fifa Governorate with 37,792 tablets, which are subject to medical circulation regulations, and 53 kilograms of hashish. In addition to the drugs, two firearms were seized from the violator. Legal measures have been taken, and the individual has been referred to the competent authority for further action.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the security authorities are urging citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or promotion activities. They have provided several contact numbers for reporting such activities: (911) for the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) for the rest of the regions in the Kingdom. Reports can also be made to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control via their reporting number (995) or through email at [email protected]. Authorities have assured that all reports will be handled with complete confidentiality.
