Riyadh:Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, has condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's persistent targeting of Makkah and Madinah. He described these acts as a blatant assault on the sanctity of the two holy cities and a violation of Islamic Sharia, which mandates the protection of sacred sites.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Al-Sudais emphasized that the repeated attacks by the Houthi militia reveal their criminal approach and malicious intentions toward Muslims and their holy sites. He highlighted that these actions demonstrate a disregard for the status of the Two Holy Mosques and are a violation of both Islamic law and international norms.
Sheikh Al-Sudais asserted that such attacks will not undermine the security and stability of the Kingdom but will instead strengthen the resolve of its leadership and people to protect the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors. He praised the leadership's efforts to safeguard Islam's holy sites, underscoring that their security is "a red line that must not be breached."
