Shura Council Speaker to Visit the UAE

Riyadh– Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh will start an official visit to the UAE, heading a delegation from the Shura Council at an official invitation from the Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council, Saqr Ghobash.

During the visit, the Speaker of the Shura Council will hold official talks with the UAE Speaker of the Federal National Council, during which the two sides will review the bilateral relations, especially the parliamentary ties between the two Councils, and ways to strengthen them. During the visit, Al-Sheikh is scheduled to meet senior UAE officials.

The Shura Council Speaker stressed that this visit emanates from the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HRH the Crown Prince, and HRH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE to support and strengthen the long-standing relations based on historical and social ties between the two countries as well as boosting bonds of cooperation between the two states and their peoples and coordinating their common positions on issues in various parliamentary forums.

He noted that the Saudi-UAE relations are witnessing a role model in consolidating cooperation ties, strengthening the Gulf march, and preserving its gains, which are evidenced by the constant channels of communication and meetings held between officials from both sides, and the existing cooperation through the Saudi-UAE Coordination Council, which embodies the level of the relationship and contributes in its permanent development.
