Riyadh: Vice Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Mishaal Alsulami met today at the Shura Council headquarters with Senator Olivier Cadic, who is the President of the France-Gulf States Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group of the French Senate and the Vice-President of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Armed Forces Committee. The meeting was part of Senator Cadic's official visit to the Kingdom.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Alsulami emphasized the depth of the historical relations between Saudi Arabia and France, highlighting the importance of strengthening these ties across various fields. The discussion focused on reviewing the existing bilateral friendship relations and exploring prospects for enhancing cooperation between the Shura Council and the French Senate. Additionally, they addressed a number of issues of mutual interest to both nations.
