Sanya: Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed and SOPC CEO and Secretary General Abdulaziz Baeshen attended the opening ceremony of the Sixth Asian Beach Games Sanya 2026 on Wednesday evening. The event was held at the Yasha Park Theatre in the city of Sanya, China, in the presence of a number of officials and Asian sports leaders.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Arabia's competitions in the tournament will begin on Thursday with jiu-jitsu. Additionally, the beach soccer team is set to face Thailand in the group stage, while the beach volleyball team will compete against Palestine and Qatar.
