Speaker of Arab Parliament Lauds Saudi Role in Supporting Palestinian Cause

Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, valued the noble stances of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud towards the Palestinian Cause, hailing the pioneering efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to stop the recent brutal aggression carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people in addition to the crimes committed in the occupied city of Al-Quds and the Gaza Strip, which resulted in hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries.

In a statement, Al-Asoumi affirmed that the urgent steps taken by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques towards the recent violations, including the call for an emergency summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and his directives to the Minister of Foreign Affairs to support the Palestinian Cause within framework of the OIC, the United Nations and effective parties, played a great role in mobilizing regional and international support for the Palestinian people, urging the influential parties to make pressure on the occupation authorities to stop the barbaric attacks against the Palestinian people, and to support their legitimate rights, foremost of which is the establishment of the Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital

The Speaker expressed his sincere thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and the Kingdom’s government for the tireless efforts at the international, Islamic and Arab levels to stop the aggression of the occupation forces and support the Palestinian people in order to restore security and stability in the region.
