Sports Investment Forum Set for May 2026 in Riyadh with Broad Global Engagement

Riyadh: The second annual Sports Investment Forum (SIF) will take place at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Riyadh from May 3 to 5, 2026, drawing sports leaders, decision-makers, and investors from both within the Kingdom and across the globe, the organizing committee announced.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum serves as a strategic platform reflecting Saudi Arabia's growing presence in the global sports economy. The upcoming edition is set to feature a comprehensive program that includes panel discussions, specialized workshops, an exhibition, and an agreement-signing platform.

A significant focus of the forum will be on 'women and sports,' dedicating an entire day to enhancing women's participation in sports. This segment will explore the future of women's sports concerning investments and community engagement.

The event will address various critical topics such as the role of sports as a global economic driver, the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030, the development of a world-class sports hub, cross-border partnerships in the sports industry, and the impact of innovation and technology in sports investment.

Additional themes include the economic impact of sports tourism, investment in women's sports and female leadership empowerment, sports as a tool for social development and public health, investment in talent and emerging sports, financing and privatization of the sector, sustainable sports cities, and advancing research in women's sports.

The inaugural SIF, held in April 2025, attracted over 2,800 participants, including more than 1,000 senior executives from over 60 countries. The event featured more than 100 speakers from around the world, providing insights during 50 sessions and workshops.
