Riyadh: The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority organized a volunteer trip yesterday for over 550 student volunteers to plant more than 3,000 seedlings within the reserve as part of Environment Week activities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative aims to encourage positive environmental behavior among students, raise awareness from an early age, and foster both individual and collective responsibility for protecting the environment.

The authority plays a key role in raising environmental awareness and promoting sustainability. It has planted over three million seedlings, spread more than 4 tons of seeds across the reserve, and restored 700,000 hectares of natural land.
