Taif: Taif Municipality is actively monitoring more than 35,000 commercial and food establishments across the city during the holy month of Ramadan to ensure public health and compliance with municipal regulations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality stated that its inspection teams conducted rounds in local markets to monitor health compliance and respond to reports concerning food facilities. These daily operations are part of the municipality's environmental sanitation efforts throughout Ramadan.

The teams operate in markets, food outlets, kitchens, confectioneries, Ramadan beverage shops, restaurants, hotels, cafes, and other commercial facilities. Inspectors work in shifts, conducting foot and vehicle patrols to monitor compliance with health regulations, construction violations, street vendors, and any practices that may pose a risk to public health.

The municipality stressed that inspections are part of a seasonal plan covering neighborhoods, outskirts, and high-density areas. Violators are subject to municipal penalties and coordinated legal actions, aiming to maintain safe food and commercial services and enhance service quality for fasting residents.
