Riyadh: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to Governor-General of Solomon Islands Sir David Tiva Kapu on his country's Independence Day.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his wishes for the governor-general's continued good health and happiness. He also conveyed his hopes for the government and people of Solomon Islands to achieve steady progress and prosperity.
