The families of the Basrian kidnapped announced today, Thursday, the liberation of their sons and the arrest of the gang members by the Iranian security authorities.

The brother of one of the kidnapped Iraqis, Jawad Kadhem, said in a press statement: “All the Iraqis kidnapped in Iran were liberated, and the kidnapping gang was arrested by the Iranian security forces and imprisoned.”

Kadhem added, “The Iranian consul contacted the families of the kidnapped Iraqis, and assured them of liberating their sons and returning them to Iraq tomorrow, Friday, and returning the money that was handed over to the gang as a ransom.”
