The Ministries of Health and Transport announced the success of the medical support and reverse transport plan for the visit of the tenth of Muharram al-Haram.
The minister stated, “The health institutions provided health services to more than (75) thousand visitors in the holy city of Karbala in various specializations until the preparation of the statement, and it is still continuing. He stressed that the Ministry of Health has prepared a support plan for the visit of the tenth of Muharram al-Haram, where its implementation began a few days ago, in which the Ministry’s center participated with its affiliated departments in Karbala Health department, and the support of the health departments in Baghdad and the provinces.
The minister praised “the efforts made by the medical, health, engineering, administrative, service and other cadres in all specializations,” expressing his thanks and appreciation for those efforts, which are a point of pride in providing health services to millions.
For his part, Minister of Transport, Razzaq Mohibis Al-Saadawi, announced today, Saturday, the success of the plan to reverse transport of the visitors of the tenth of Muharram in Karbala Governorate.
The minister said in a statement: “The Ministry of Transport has mobilized all energies, mechanisms, vehicles and trains, according to a service plan managed by the Ministry’s operations room in coordination with the supporting agencies of the local government in Karbala Governorate and some ministries and concerned authorities, in order to transport visitors with a high flow.
Al-Saadawi added: “The formations of the ministry were honored to serve the visitors of al-Hussein (peace be upon him) through a plan that was supervised by the advanced cadre of the ministry of agents and general managers, as it included the allocation of more than 7 thousand vehicles belonging to private transport, whose services were distributed among the holy governorates of Karbala, the honorable Najaf, and Babylon, while the General Company for the Transport of Passengers and Delegations has installed more than 300 buses to transport visitors.
He continued: “The General Railway Company participated with (10) trains, serving visitors from the southern governorates, starting from Basra towards Karbala, and from there towards the capital, Baghdad.”
Al-Saadawi praised the efforts of the ministry’s senior management, and the engineering, technical, administrative and operational cadres, and also praised the great efforts made by the formations, as well as the local government in the holy city of Karbala, as well as the security forces responsible for securing the visitors.
