The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation receives an invitation from Al-Sudani to visit Baghdad

The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Muhammad Samir Al-Naqshbandi, met with the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, today, Sunday, at the organization’s headquarters in Jeddah.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that during the meeting, an invitation was sent from the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, to the Secretary-General to visit Iraq to discuss the framework of further consultations and exchange of views to stand against the repetition of provocative actions regarding the burning of copies of the Noble Qur’an in Sweden and Denmark.
