A third Saudi relief plane departed today from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh to Benghazi’s Benina International Airport carrying 50 tons of food that will be distributed to the victims of the floods that hit Libya recently.

The aid is sent in implementation of the directives given by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister to King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to provide food and shelter material to those affected.

A KSrelief specialized team will manage the aid distribution in coordination with the Libyan Red Crescent.

These efforts are testimony to the Kingdom’s unwavering support to friendly countries in times of crisis and hardship.
