Thousands Experience Levantine Culture at ‘Global Harmony 2’

Riyadh: The Global Harmony 2 initiative continues in Riyadh, with diverse activities showcasing Levantine culture to thousands of residents and citizens of various nationalities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event is organized by the Ministry of Media in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and is part of the Quality of Life Program's initiatives aimed at achieving the goals of Vision 2030.

Global Harmony 2 fosters engagement with expatriates in the Kingdom, highlighting their cultural diversity through an interactive platform that brings together different communities.

On the second day of the Levant events, visitors enjoyed cultural presentations from Jordan, Syria, Palestine, and Lebanon, with lively audience participation. The atmosphere was alive with traditional zaffeh and dabkeh dance, along with other folkloric performances.

The main stage featured performances by circus troupes, followed by a series of artistic acts that drew enthusiastic crowds. Heritage and cultural pavilions attracted significant attention, allowing visitors to explore Levantine traditions through clothing, folk arts, and traditional cuisine.

Many participants expressed their gratitude to Saudi Arabia for organizing the initiative, praising the opportunity to share and celebrate their cultural heritage. They emphasized that Global Harmony 2 has become a hub for fostering connections among all communities residing in Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry of Media will conclude the Levantine culture days on Thursday with a series of diverse events.

Global Harmony 2 spotlights 14 global cultures represented in Saudi Arabia, showcasing the residents' professional and family life, social and recreational activities, and their integration and harmony with Saudi society.
