Thunderstorms and Gusty Winds Expected in Several Saudi Regions

Riyadh: Partly cloudy skies accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds are forecasted for the highlands of the Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions, with the weather pattern extending to the southern parts of Madinah Region's highlands. Additionally, fog may develop in these areas, as well as in parts of the Eastern Region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are expected to be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, while shifting from southerly to southeasterly, and then to northeasterly to southeasterly in the southern part, with speeds ranging between 15-45 km/h. Wave heights are anticipated to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, resulting in relatively calm sea conditions.

In the Arabian Gulf, wind speeds are projected to be northwesterly to westerly at 10-30 km/h. The wave heights are expected to reach from half a meter to one meter, indicating a calm sea.
