Abu Dhabi, The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced today the detection of the first case of the COVID-19 Omicron variant coming from abroad.

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention pointed out that the infected case has been examined and isolated along with its contacts, adding that all the necessary health measures have been taken.
