Madinah: Nineteen workshops were held today as part of the second annual Umrah and Ziyarah Forum, currently underway at the King Salman International Convention Center in Madinah. The sessions explored the latest initiatives and technological advancements aimed at enhancing services for pilgrims and enriching their overall experience.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the workshops, organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, brought together experts and stakeholders to discuss ongoing efforts to improve accommodation services, implement innovative technologies, and utilize artificial intelligence to elevate the experience of Umrah performers and visitors.
Participants also examined the role of social media in educating and guiding pilgrims, alongside discussions on entrepreneurship and creative projects in the Hajj and Umrah sectors. Topics included hospitality, marketing, and innovation skills, all of which contribute to delivering world-class services and showcasing Madinah’s rich Islamic and historical heritage.
The forum, which opened yesterday, continues to serve as a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange among public- and private-sector entities committed to enhancing the spiritual and logistical journey of pilgrims.
