UNESCO RCQE Engages in Global Education Dialogues at UN Assembly

New York:The UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education (RCQE) took part in several international events and discussions held alongside the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The gatherings in New York included representatives from the United Nations, international organizations, educational institutions, youth networks, and the private sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, RCQE's participation provided an opportunity to engage with global discussions about the future of education, focusing on quality learning, youth skills development, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, green education, and sustainability. These conversations also explored how education and skill systems are adapting to rapidly changing technological, economic, and social trends.

RCQE interacted with various international institutions and networks to share perspectives and experiences, introduce the center's initiatives in advancing quality and innovation in education, and explore potential collaborations and partnerships. A key focus was the promotion of the Global Youth Network for Quality and Excellence, aimed at enhancing youth engagement by connecting them with researchers, practitioners, and educational institutions.

The Global Youth Network for Quality and Excellence in Education was featured in the United Nations Youth Office's official newsletter, which reaches over 50,000 young people globally. This exposure is expected to expand awareness and open communication channels with international organizations and youth networks.

RCQE's involvement underscored the significance of integrating education quality and youth empowerment within broader global dialogues on future skills, employment, and sustainable development. It highlighted the need for stronger connections between learning and opportunities for young people, leveraging innovation and emerging technologies to support inclusive and adaptable education systems.

This participation is part of RCQE's wider efforts to enhance international cooperation, engage with global knowledge and practices, and build partnerships that support quality and excellence in education across the Arab region and beyond.
