Riyadh: Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji on Monday met with Ebrahim Azizi, Chairman of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, and his delegation. The meeting took place at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Key areas of cooperation were highlighted, particularly those relating to the Shura Council and the Islamic Consultative Assembly. The meeting aimed to explore pathways for enhanced collaboration and mutual understanding between the two nations.

The reception was also attended by Shura Council Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Aqla Al-Aqla and Iranian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Alireza Enayati. Their presence underscores the importance both countries place on diplomatic dialogue and constructive engagement.
