Cairo: Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji met with Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad Dr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug on the sidelines of the 164th session of the League of Arab States Council at the ministerial level, held in Egypt. Their discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing the latest regional and global developments.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting also included talks on efforts currently underway to tackle various international challenges. Saudi Arabia's permanent representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Matar, was also present during the discussions.
