Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a forecast indicating the likelihood of dust-stirring winds affecting the regions of Najran, Riyadh, Makkah, and Madinah. Additionally, Jazan and Aseer regions are predicted to experience thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds. The Eastern Region is expected to face hot to extremely hot weather conditions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are predicted to be northeasterly to southeasterly in the northern and central parts with speeds ranging from 10-40 km/h. In the southern part of the Red Sea, winds are expected to shift to westerly to northwesterly at speeds of 25-50 km/h. The sea conditions are anticipated to vary, with waves ranging from half a meter to two meters, resulting in calm to choppy waters.
In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates southeasterly to southwesterly winds in the northern and central parts, and easterly to northeasterly winds in the southern part, with speeds of 10-25 km/h. The sea is expected to remain calm with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one meter.
