Riyadh: According to the National Center for Meteorology, moderate to heavy thunderstorms will be witnessed, leading to torrential rains accompanied by winds and hail showers over parts of the Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan, and Najran regions, extending to the southwestern parts of the Riyadh Region.

Visibility will be affected by dust in parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, and Tabuk regions.

According to the report, surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly, at a speed of 12-35 km/h, reaching 45 km/h in the northern part. They will be southwesterly to southeasterly toward the Bab el-Mandab Strait, reaching 30-50 km/h.

Waves will reach from one to one and a half meters in the northern part, from half a meter to one meter in the central and southern parts, reaching more than two meters toward the Bab el-Mandab Strait. The sea will be relatively calm, becoming choppy by the Bab el-Mandab Strait.

Winds in the Arabian Gulf will be southeasterly to southwesterly; in the evening, in t
he southern part, they will be northerly to northeasterly, at a speed of 10-30 km/hour. Waves will reach from half a meter to a meter, and the sea will be calm.
