Weather Forecast for Saudi Arabia: Expect Thundershowers and Extreme Heat

Jeddah: Moderate to torrential thundershowers, accompanied by active winds, are forecast for the regions of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah. Extreme heat is expected in the Eastern and Madinah regions, while thunderstorms with active winds are anticipated in Riyadh and Najran.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 20-40 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h in the northern part. In the southern part, the winds will be westerly to northwesterly at speeds of 15-35 km/h, with speeds also reaching up to 50 km/h. The waves in the northern Red Sea will range from one to two meters, and from one-half meter in the southern part. The sea is expected to be moderate to rough in the north and moderate in the south.

In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates southeasterly to easterly winds at speeds of 08-28 km/h. Waves are expected to range from half a meter to one meter, with the sea remaining calm.
