Riyadh: The Women's Affairs Agency at the Prophet's Mosque has launched volunteer opportunities under the enrichment track, aiming to promote the values of volunteerism in serving female visitors and enabling them to enjoy a distinguished experience. The initiative is offered through the National Volunteer Portal, making opportunities accessible to those interested in participating across the available tracks.
According to Saudi Press Agency, volunteer activities include guiding female visitors in using the interactive electronic screens within the Prophet's Mosque and assisting non-Arabic speakers in navigating these systems in their preferred language. Volunteers will also provide on-site guidance, accompany female visitors through the mosque's halls and courtyards, direct them to women's service areas and facilities, help manage entry and exit in crowded areas, assist the elderly and individuals with special needs, and distribute brochures and informational materials on the etiquettes of visiting the mosque.
This initiative supports the agency's goal of enriching the experience of female visitors while fostering female participation in volunteer work, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to strengthen the culture of volunteerism in society.
