Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preparing to host the World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport, organized by the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Civil Defense, in partnership with the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers. The event will take place in Riyadh from October 26 to November 1, 2025, with the participation of national teams from 21 countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the championship is a global sporting event that showcases the professional skills and training excellence of civil defense personnel worldwide. It also reflects ongoing efforts to promote a culture of safety and prevention while highlighting the heroic role of firefighters in protecting lives and property.

By hosting this championship, the Kingdom reaffirms its leadership and strong organizational capacity in staging major sporting events. The event also underscores its commitment to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, including encouraging sports participation and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle across society.
