14th Meeting of GCC Permanent Committee of Heads of Meteorological Facilities Applauds Saudi Climate Change Initiatives

Jeddah– The 14th Meeting of GCC Permanent Committee of Heads of Meteorological Facilities, which was held over two days in Jeddah, was concluded.

It was presided over by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the National Center for Meteorology of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of the Heads of Meteorological Facilities of the GCC member states, as well as the GCC Secretariat General, and with the participation of the World Meteorological Organization’s representative in the Arab region.

The GCC Secretariat General hailed the initiatives, highlighting their importance and support for those efforts led by the Kingdom to make them succeed and achieve their results.

The Permanent Committee reviewed the presentation provided by the National Center for Meteorology, which included the great efforts exerted to follow up on the implementation of the Green Saudi and Green Middle East initiatives launched by the Kingdom.
